Hi, welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. In today's session, I'm going to share a cool, fun word with you that may inspire you to live a more full whole and inspiring life. And that word is flawsome. No, this doesn't have to do with flossing, your teeth. This has to do with being awesome with all of your flaws.
So that the definition of this, which I don't think you could find in a normal dictionary is an individual who embraces their flaws and knows they are awesome regardless. Okay. So this daily mindfulness is more of a fun one, a lighthearted. But I think there's something cool about this word in taking, in taking it into your life. Because, you know, when it comes to healing work and trying to improve aspects of ourselves, sometimes it can be heavy.
And especially when we start looking at our flaws and the things we need to improve. Our mind can get just so sucked into it and bogged down by all of the stuff that needs to change and all the things we need to fix. But something about this word, flawsome, allows us to hold all of that, all of our flaws, everything that we're still working on and, and still recognize that we're awesome regardless. And awesome can be defined in a lot of ways. We're still whole, we're still great, we're still fundamentally worthy.
But I like the word awesome. And I like combining it with all of our flaws. All of this can exist and we can still be great. We could still be awesome. And I think it's just a great thing to take, uh, as a, as a perspective in our own life, in relationship to ourself and in relationship to others, because everyone has flaws, everyone has stuff they're working on.
And so much of what makes us unique as human beings. And also that that gives us unique capacities are the things that we often perceive as our flaws or the difficult things that have happened to us. So as you go about your day to day, yeah, continue to maybe work on some of the things that are important to you, but see if you can hold it within the larger perspective of being flawsome. Thanks so much for your practice and for being flawsome. Let's settle in for today's meditation.
