Hi, welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. In today's session, we're going to talk about connecting to your inner compass. In every moment we're making a decision. Should I rest? Should I take this job? Should I text this person? Should I move to this new place? Should I have this cup of coffee? Some decisions feel more consequential than others, but the mechanism we use for making these decisions will create a life more in alignment with what makes us whole and fulfilled or disconnect us from our life force and our inner truth. We can practice making decisions from full alignment, with the smaller decisions in our life.

As you go about your day to day, instead of making decisions out of habit or quick reactivity, see if you could take a moment to stop or at least slow down, breathe, ground yourself. And periodically ask, what is my intuitive sense of what should be done right now? Then, practice trusting that softer, intuitive voice. When we do this in lower stakes ways, like, should I have this cup of coffee or not, or make this phone call, we develop an inner trust with this inner compass that we can take with us to the higher stakes decisions in our life.
