Hi, and welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. In today's session we're going to talk about confidence. As you can imagine there are so many things to say about developing confidence. One of the biggest things, being that it primarily develops through simply doing things. The more we do something, even if we're scared, and continue to show up, eventually we get better at that thing and develop a new sense of efficacy.
Confidence develops from there through repetition. However, most of us, try to be confident before doing something and fear that we can't do something until we're confident enough. Maybe you've experienced that. It's like, Oh, I can't go for that job interview. Or I need to feel more confident before I can have this conversation or do this thing.
So I want to offer you a radical idea that you can take into a specific thing you wish to do, or just life in general, which is that you don't need to be confident. You just need to meet your life with presence, humility, curiosity, and an openness to starting again and again and again and again. And the more you do this, the more you're getting in your reps of life. The more you continue to show up. You continue to try it again, try it again.
You experience maybe the hurt of a setback. You meet it with humility and go, all right, let's keep going. And that itself will develop a sense of confidence over time, but you don't need it to get started. So hope this gives you a new way to think about confidence in your life. And that you can continue to show up again, again and again, with humility and presence.

Hi, and welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. In today's session we're going to talk about confidence. As you can imagine there are so many things to say about developing confidence. The more we do something, even if we're scared, and continue to show up, eventually we get better at that thing and develop a new sense of efficacy.
