Hey friends, welcome to your Daily Mindfulness. So while it's natural to feel disappointment when we fail at something, we really don't have to buy into the idea that that failure is a measure of our self-worth or our potential. You know, often our moments of failure are proof that we had the courage to try or take a risk. And our failures are often life's most potent opportunities to gain insight, learn something new and grow as a person. So in times of defeat or setback, I urge you to be patient, kind and non-judgmental with yourself.

I encourage you also to be open and curious to see what you can learn from the experience. You know, it can sometimes be really helpful to ask yourself empowering questions like what can I learn from this? Or how can I grow from this? So instead of being hard on yourself, when you fail, try to meet each setback with curiosity, courage and self-compassion. And when you do that, you'll be able to dust yourself off, pick yourself up and try again more quickly. And you'll also be making gains in inner strength and wisdom every step of the way. So don't be afraid to make mistakes.

Don't be discouraged when you fall, because in every failure there's feedback and an opportunity to grow, evolve and get stronger.
