Hey there. Welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. In today's session, we're going to talk about finding meaning. Now this is one of those big topics and a lot of ways that we can approach it, but finding your life's meaning seems to be one of those things that feels daunting or just too big for us to tackle. Some people do have a natural sense of their life's purpose and meaning, what they're meant to do.
And others develop this over time. And some people may never feel like they come to one grand, overarching, perceived meaning for their life. So if that resonates, I'm going to invite you to try on a different perspective. Instead of trying to figure out what your life's meaning is, explore, creating meaningful moments throughout your day. So periodically you might ask, in this moment, how can I make it more meaningful? Or, how might I perceive more meaning in what I'm doing right now? Whether it's a conversation with someone, being at home, at your work, or just spending time with yourself.
Meaning is not something that can be created over the course of years, all at once. It's something that we're creating on an ongoing moment to moment basis. And if you start by working on creating meaningful moments, well, who knows, one day you might wake up with a larger sense of a perceived meaning in your life. But even if you don't, each moment becomes an opportunity to live a meaningful life. So try this out.
